Hony 9041 is closely related to Hony 9040, with the primary distinction being that the cyclopentamethylsiloxane in the silicone elastomer mixture is replaced by a non-volatile, low viscosity (5cSt) polydimethylsiloxane.
Incorporating Hony 9041 into formulations provides a silky smooth feel and a long-lasting skin texture. It is predominantly utilized for thickening waterless and water-in-oil (W/O) formulations. It is non-flammable and versatile enough for both cold and hot processing.
