Prebiotic Tapioca/Corn Isomalto-oligosaccharide (IMO) is a soluble prebiotic fiber and low-calorie sweetener used in formulations to cut calories and sugar. IMO has the ability to improve mineral absorption and is resistant to digestion. Non-GMO and Certified Organic varieties are available. Isomalt-oligosaccharide is a white powdered starch sugar product that is refined through a variety of procedures including liquefaction, glycosylation, transglycosylation, decolorization, desalination, concentration, and drying.
